This beautiful trail is an exhilarating and exotic adventure from start to finish. The Barb Arab stallions are the true highlight of this ride: strong & well trained, they will carry you, seemingly effortlessly, across the varied terrain in the course of the week. These beautiful horses will allow you to get to magnificent remote places, barely touched by tourism. The general pace of the ride is walk and trot with many opportunities for fast canters and some exciting gallops in open spaces.
You should be a confident rider fit enough for an average of 5 hours in the saddle each day.
Morning transfer from Marrakesh to the Terres d'Amanar Equestrian center. Please arrive before noon in Marrakesh.
After meeting your guide and the team we will talk about the week ahead and
after saddling the horses each participant will be matched to their horse and skill level before heading out.
We pass through the hamlets of the valley, then over gentle hills and then on a track
where the first canters can be enjoyed. Crossing olive groves and passing through some beautiful country
we end the day below Souktana, the highest peak in the Kik region.
